The price of Injective (INJ) is attempting to recover after falling 16% over the past week. The recent active accumulation of INJ by whales may hint the altcoin is on the verge of growth in the crypto market.
Whales are interested in Injective again
Injective is currently trading at $34 after a correction of over 16% over the past week. During this same time, activity on the network has increased significantly, which can be seen in the number of daily active addresses (DAA). In cases where the price falls and DAA rises, the market gives a buy signal.
This signal seems to have been picked up by cryptocurrency whales. Large investors made the most of the price drop, buying more than 740,000 INJ worth about $28.4 million in one day.
The actions of whales are generally known to have a huge impact on the price of an asset. And if retail market participants follow their example, the altcoin could recover in the coming days.
INJ Price Prediction
After breaking the $48 barrier, Injective will likely aim for $40 as the most important psychological level. Confirming it as support will allow the rally to continue as FOMO encourages hoarding among retail investors.
The price of Injective is close to breaking through the resistance level of $35. Having overcome this barrier and turning it into support, the asset will head towards the $40 mark. However, if the breakout attempt fails, INJ could fall to $30, and if this level is lost, it could drop to $28.
About Injective
The Injective Protocol is the basis of a fully decentralized crypto exchange that supports a wide range of derivatives, including CFDs, perpetual swaps, and much more. The system provides a launch environment compatible with EVM, DeFi applications, and an area for transferring Ethereum and ERC-20 tokens to Injective. Injective’s order book is completely decentralized and runs on 0x. It allows orders to be passed along a side chain with settlements within the main chain.
The process of creating a market is as open as possible and has no restrictions. Anyone can create an exchange pool and implement it into the Injective ecosystem. The protocol will help avoid excessive network loads and associated high gas fees, thanks to an innovative two-layer architecture.
