The last week of December is looking to be a hot couple of days for cryptocurrency markets as we’ve seen both Bitcoin and Ethereum continue to show bullish momentum. Metaverse coins are doing quite well today, with many seeing significant price gains of over 8%. This article looks at the top 3 crypto Metaverse coins gaining the most price today, ordered by 24-hour price gain, lowest to highest.
#3 Boson Protocol (BOSON) – $2.08 +9.89%
Boson Protocol describes itself as the decentralized network on which future commerce will run. Boson enables anyone to sell physical products in the Metaverse as NFTs within their Decentraland space.
Back in June, Boson Protocol made news when it paid over $700k for a Decentraland plot to create a virtual mall.
Users can currently visit the Boson Portal in Decentraland and explore their plot of land. There are various challenges available for new players, and I highly recommend checking them out.
In September, Boson Protocol made NFT history when they acquired Dolce & Gabbana’s Glass Suit for $1 million! On December 22nd, Boson Protocol revealed in an announcement their upcoming plans for a unique wearable sculpture called The Glass Suit, based on the iconic suit that the team purchased in September.
At the time of writing Boson Protocol is trading at $1.66, with a 24-hour trading volume of $6.3 million. Its market cap is $124 million with a circulating supply of 62.6 million BOSON.

#2 Vucaln Forged (PYR) – $19.92 +15.12%
Vulcan Forged PYR is a blockchain game studio and NFT marketplace that switched to the Polygon network in March 2021. Vulcan Forged allows users and creators to play, build, collaborate, earn, and bring their ideas to life.
On their platform, Vulcan Forged features several in-browser games available to play. Users must create a Vulcan Forged account to access the games, but they are open to the public.

Recently, Vulcan Forged has dealt with a hacker who stole over $140 million PYR from their NFT marketplace on Polygon.

PYR’s price has been bullish since the team acknowledged the hack and started remedying the situation. PYR has since then surpassed pre-hack levels of $19, currently trading at $19.71, up over 13% in the past 24 hours.
