No one can deny both virtual and augmented reality content is slowly becoming more popular. To produce such immersive content, one needs the proper camera hardware to do so. The Vuze Plus 3D is a new 360-degree 4K VR camera which is designed to bring more high-quality content to both virtual and augmented reality headsets. Under the hood, this new camera packs quite the punch, although it’s not a cheap gizmo by any means. This new product shows content creators take VR and AR a lot more seriously than before, though.

It is evident we need better camera equipment to keep producing engaging VR and AR content. That is much easier said than done, though, as such hardware is not something manufacturers can create in a matter of days. It is an interesting piece of equipment which offers a lot of benefits to the VR and AR industry.
More specifically, the camera can capture high-resolution 3360-degree stills or video in full spherical view. This is made possible thanks to the eight ultra-wide angle lenses which stitch the content together through a native app. Additionally, content creators get a desktop client to play around with which allows them to create an experience for VR users all over the world. The camera itself also looks pretty elegant, which is unlikely what some people would expect.
Another interesting aspect is how this new camera is capable of broadcasting content in real-time. This will open up some interesting new opportunities for online streamers, vloggers, and whatnot. Moreover, the video recorded by this machine is compatible with all major platforms, including Facebook, YouTube, and virtually all mobile devices and VR headsets. It is evident the designers of this new hardware have successfully come up with a way to make VR content creation more appealing, assuming you are willing to pay top dollar for the Vuze+ camera.
Speaking of which, the Vuze Plus +D 360 Spherical VR 4K Camera will sell for a retail price of $1.195. It is not a device designed for people who are looking for ways to record a few short VR clips and then never touch it again. Whether or not we will see any major content quality upgrade because of this camera, remains to be determined. For now, most of the VR content is still somewhat lackluster, but things will pick up eventually.
