Memecoin mania continues. Only now the focus is on “meme” coins dedicated to American politicians. Amid the general rise in the crypto market, a new memecoin created in honor of current US President Joe Biden soared by more than 1600% in the last 24 hours under the name of Jeo Boden (BODEN).
BODEN, TREMP & Politicians Memecoins are Gaining Popularity
On March 5, a new memecoin appeared on Solana called (BODEN). The asset’s name and ticker are a misspelling of the name of US President Joe Biden.
According to CoinMarketCap, the “meme” coin debuted at $0.00005. However, in a matter of minutes, the asset value soared by 126,000% to $0.06378, and its capitalization exceeded $40 million.
At the time of writing, over 51 thousand transactions worth $27.4 million have been made with memcoin in the last 24 hours. BODEN is currently trading at $0.03574, having increased by 73% over the past 24 hours.
The TREMP memcoin, created in honor of US presidential candidate Donald Trump, appeared on Solana at the end of February. He didn’t show the same impressive dynamics as Jeo Boden. However, as of March 6, the price of the “meme” coin has increased by more than 113%, according to CoinMarketCap .
The Crypto Community Reacts
The wave of creation of such memecoins as BODEN and TREMP was inspired by the famous meme about Spider-Man – “Spoderman”.
Members of the crypto community are actively creating new “meme” coins in honor of various famous personalities. For example, in the vast crypto market you can find a token about Vitalik Buterin – Wutalik Butterin. Or even Shrek – shruk. A user under the nickname @sumfattytuna shared what assets appeared on Solana:

Some users believe that BODEN and TREMP could become tools for betting on the US presidential election. Such voting has already appeared on Polymarket. At the moment, Trump is in the lead – participants estimate the probability of his victory at 53%. the editors of the VR Soldier wrote recently about the capitalization of the memcoin sector exceeded $40 billion.
