Founded in 2010, Leafly is the biggest database for descriptions and pictures of cannabis strains. It rankes as number #1393 by United States traffic, it receives over 6 million monthly visitors and 31 million pageviews. In order to stay with the trend and generate some hype, Leafly decided to host the High Five Virtual Reality Challenge.
The challenge is composed of five contestants, all competing for a gold trophy filled with 3 ounces of top shelf herb. The winner will be announced after six episodes where they play a wide variety of VR games. For the THC, the contestants will be using the DaVinci IQ vaporizer, and for the VR the contestants will be using the HTC Vive.
The contestants are:
Josh – from the Youtube channel Strain Central.
Sasha – from the Youtube channel SilencedHippie.
Ashley – a Youtube strain reviewer known as Positive Smash 420.
Jamila – a cannabis enthusiast.
Will – a budtender and an EDM bandmate.
The first episode features the contestants playing the VR version of Fruit Ninja and those with the highest scores get to progress to the next round.
