The rapid development of dApps creates additional demand for innovative products with high scalability, low transaction costs and high integration with other blockchain projects. NEAR Protocol is one of the leaders in this segment, providing unique technology services as well as investment opportunities.

Is NEAR The Protocol of The Future?

Most crypto analysts consider NEAR Protocol one of the most promising projects on the market. Thus, crypto expert Evan Jones argues that it can even compete with Ethereum due to the high performance of its network, integration with other first-level blockchains (such as Terra and Cosmos) and minimal transaction costs. However, Jones also notes the high centralization of decision making and the suboptimal initial distribution of tokens among system participants as the main shortcomings of the NEAR Protocol. Well-known analysts positively assessed the price dynamics of NEAR and argued that the current price level allows you to open a long position, expecting an increase in the price of the token in the medium term.

Experts note significant growth potential for NEAR Protocol as the team launched a stablecoin called USN. As the demand for stablecoins continues to grow during the crypto winter, NEAR can use this to maximize its capitalization. NEAR Protocol will attempt to implement the growth strategy employed by Terra, where the value of the underlying token is incentivized by a stablecoin.

Moreover, it can offer a very high percentage (20%) for staking its new stablecoin. The implementation of such an aggressive strategy leads to increased investor optimism in the short term, but long-term returns and risks remain uncertain.

NEAR Protocol Financial Analysis

The market capitalization of NEAR Protocol as of Jan 28 reached $2.94 billion, at the time of writing, which corresponds to the 29th place in the list of the largest cryptocurrencies by capitalization at the moment. There are approximately 1 billion NEAR tokens already in circulation. In addition, NEAR holders have the opportunity to receive additional income from staking in the amount of 12%+ per annum.

What do the Experts Say?

Most cryptanalysts consider NEAR Protocol one of the most promising projects on the market. Thus, the crypto expert Evan Jones argues that NEAR Protocol can even compete with Ethereum due to the high performance of its network, integration with other first-level blockchains (such as Terra and Cosmos) and minimal transaction costs. However, Jones also notes the high centralization of decision making and the suboptimal initial distribution of tokens among system participants as the main shortcomings of the NEAR Protocol. Well-known analyst Michael van de Popp positively assesses the price dynamics of NEAR and argues that the current price level allows you to open a long position, expecting an increase in the price of the token in the medium term.

Is NEAR Protocol Worth Buying?

The short-term dynamics of NEAR, as a rule, have a clearly defined trend that is maintained for several weeks or months. This creates sufficient opportunities for short-term trading both up and down. Technical analysis and reversal signals can help maximize investment returns in this case. NEAR also has significant potential for growth in the medium and long term, since the project follows all the main crypto trends (environmental friendliness, scalability, integration with other projects, launching its own stablecoin , etc.).
