No one will deny there are some very strange VR games on the market. When Pants Pants Revolution was announced, most people had no idea what to expect. Even though it is a rhythm-based VR game, it seems to be taking an entirely different approach. For a free game, we can’t really complain about that, though.

Pants Pants Revolution is Very Different

The name alone already suggests there is a very different approach to the rhythm-based genre altogether. While Pants Pants Revolution makes people think of Dance Dance Revolution, it is not entirely the case by any means. In fact, it is a far more “disturbing” version, although one people can have a lot of fun with as well, given the right conditions.

The objective of this game is simple: you have to take off your pants. You stand in front of a large mirror and have to remove your garments in time to the beat. It sounds like a very silly challenge, but rest assured this is not as easy as one might think. It certainly borrows a lot of elements from Dance Dance Revolution in this regard, other than the pants removing, of course.

With six different songs to choose from, players will have a great time playing this free game. You will need a HTC Vive and the associated controllers to mimic the removal of pants accordingly. It is not necessary to remove your pants in real life, but it’s hard to prevent people from doing so regardless. There are even online leaderboards to check out, which is pretty interesting.

The game is also packed with various internet references, which most users will enjoy. It is a game that never takes itself too seriously, yet still offers a ton of fun in exchange for no money. It is safe to say the VR gaming industry needs more games like these moving forward.
