Japan is the place to be when it comes to virtual reality experiences. This is especially true in Tokyo, as there are so many VR arcades and locations available to consumers. It is expected the number of locations will only increase. It is a more than viable alternative to buying one’s own VR headset, that much is evident.  Below are some locations in Tokyo to experience VR at more than affordable rates.

3. Cycle Studio R Shibuya

It is good to see VR service providers tackle this market in many different ways. Cycle Studio R Shibuya provides users with a virtual reality workout. It is quite an interesting take on things to get people to exercise more often. Although there always some issues with sweat and VR hardware, it seems this location has not run into any trouble just yet. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area.

2. Sky Circus Sunshine 60 Observatory

VR Enthusiasts who cross the Ikebukuro region of Tokyo on a regular basis may want to stop by the Sky Circus Sunshine 60 Observatory. Although this venue is located on the 60th floor of the building, it lets users look out over the city. For those who are slightly more adventurous, the Tokyo Dangan Flight experience is worth checking out. Don a VR headset and travel above a futuristic Tokyo in virtual reality for a cheap price!

1. Dospara VR Paradise

Most people consider virtual reality to be a platform for gaming purposes. Akihabara’s Dospara VR Paradise seemingly agrees. Several booths are equipped with VR hardware and a wide variety of video games. It also provides some privacy, which is more than worth the money to a lot of people. Users can enjoy virtual reality in thirty-minute stretches, assuming they make an appointment in advance.  Locations like these are always extremely popular, for obvious reasons.
