EON Reality has positioned itself as the global leader in AR and VR-based knowledge transfer for industry and education As such, they want to effectively further their position on the market and get more individuals excited about these new technologies. This new IDC will build on the growing technology and VR community active in Ontario today.
EON Reality Founder Dan Lejerskar adds:
“Partnering with Mohawk College to open this new Interactive Digital Center is a great way for us to bring Augmented and Virtual Reality technology to Canada. By educating people about the AVR Platform, we can help bring Mohawk College to the forefront of all of the academic institutions in one of the most technologically advanced areas on the planet.”
One aspect of this venture will focus on building the AR and VR skills of Mohawk College. Secondly, the new facility will help expand the industry into AVR as a whole The Toronto-Waterloo technology corridor is often labeled as the Silicon Valley of Canada.
