It has become rather apparent the adult content industry has taken a strong liking to VR. So much even that one particular company is launching an IndieGogo campaign for customizable adult avatars. A worthwhile venture for Adult Web Virtual Reality, although one that may not necessarily gain immediate traction.
A new Wave of VR Avatars is Coming
One of the main selling points of virtual reality is how people can create their own virtual avatar. It is the new way of interfacing with other like-minded people and certainly works a lot better than using regular nicknames. Especially when it comes to the social aspect of virtual reality, an avatar is critical and quite fun at the same time.
However, there are only so many avatars to choose from. Adult Web Virtual Reality – or AWVR – is looking to improve upon the VR avatar problem, By creating customizable adult entertainment avatars, the company is certainly heading in an interesting direction.
According to the AWVR team, the concept works as follows:

While it is commendable to see more companies focus on VR, this particular venture is aimed at a niche market. Users can create a customizable avatar to enter the virtual clubs on the platform and interact with other users accordingly. More customization will undoubtedly attract a lot of attention, which can only help the VR industry grow and evolve as a whole.
