Finding virtual reality games accessible on all major platforms is still a bit of an issue. Then again, we see some positive trends in this regard as we speak. Batman: ARkham VR is one of the few games available on PlayStation VR, HTC Vive, and Oculus Rift. it is a fun game in our opinion, but your mileage may vary.

Batman: Arkham VR is fun for an Hour

Any video game involving Batman deserves to be checked out at least once. The concept of Batman and VR had our attention from day one, even though we knew it would be very difficult to create a proper experience. Even though Batman: Arkham VR is anything but a bad game, there are some flaws which will make even real Batman fans think twice about playing it again. Then again, this is the closest all of us will get to being Batman for the foreseeable future.

The Batman: Arkham VR game takes place between Arkham City and Arkham Knight, creating a somewhat unique experience for games to enjoy. The plot of the story is quite interesting as well, and it even contains a plot twist people will talk about for some time to come. Despite this decent story, the game will not make much sense for people who haven’t played the others in the series.

For those people who were expecting to fly through Arkham, you will be rather disappointed. Most of the game is spent on solving puzzles, which are all quite fun. There are some gadgets to use, including the Batarang and the grappling hook. It is good to have this degree of interactivity, to say the least. Even so, it all makes us want something more, which we will unfortunately never get throughout the game.

With no real action and fighting, this is not a game everyone will enjoy. Even though we wouldn’t have minded punching people in the face either, the puzzles are engaging enough to keep you entertained. Sadly, the game is quite short, as you can finish it in less than 90 minutes. There are some challenges afterward, but some people may not necessarily go for these “trophies’ right away.
