It is evident the virtual reality ecosystem will be mostly about games, for the time being. One of the games that caught our attention goes by the name of Darknet, which is a puzzle and strategy game that will peak many people’s interest. It is a gorgeous visual representation of challenging tasks and is often referred to as one of the “must-have” titles. Cyberpunk hacking in virtual reality has never been more fun than by playing Darknet.
An Overview of the Darknet VR Hacking Experience
One thing that makes Darknet stand out from most other VR games are its stunning graphics. Solving puzzles in virtual reality is what this technology was made for, or so it would appear. However, Darknet is not all about puzzling, as it also mixes in some strategy elements that guarantee hours of fun. Moreover, there is plenty of reason to play the game over and over again.
It has to be said, Darknet is an homage to cyberpunk. Although not everyone is looking forward to hacking in the virtual reality world the concept has a lot more merit than one might think. Some players see Darknet as the hacking game “they have been waiting for all of their life”, which is quite a compliment.
It is hard to prove them wrong, though, as Darknet has a very rich palette of gameplay. While the initial stages seem very simple, things get a lot more complex and challenging after a few minutes. That is a good thing, as the VR world should be more about challenging and immersive games, rather than passive experiences. Moreover, there is a strict time limit users have to adhere to, which adds extra suspense to the game.
One cannot deny Darknet is made for virtual reality and vice versa. The environment is very realistic and absorbing, which makes it stand out in a league of its own among other VR games so far. Anyone who owns an Oculus Rift, Samsung Gear VR, or Playstation VR should definitely check the game out. It is a brilliant experience at a more than affordable price.
