Zombie Grenades Practice Review – Great fun With a Different Mindset

Truth be told, we were not too excited to fire up yet another zombie-themed VR game this week. Even though Zombie Grandes Practice is a very different breed of action game altogether, we can’t shake the feeling the concept of zombies is just too common. At the same time, the game is pretty fun. The game is available for the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift at a price of $12.99.

Zombie Grenades Practice is Certainly Unique

We can certainly welcome the concept of a different breed of VR game. Gone are the shotguns, pistols, swords, and flamethrowers. While we will miss that latter option, getting creative with grenades and explosives is equally fun. The name of the game suggests you get to kill a lot of zombies with grenades, something all of the other games in this genre severely lack.

Every single level is designed in an interesting manner. There are a limited number of grenades and a set number of zombies to be killed. There is some degree of tactic to be used in this game, as using fewer grenades will result in higher scores. You will need to collect the stars to unlock new levels, as is usually the case in these types of games.

What is rather remarkable about Zombie Grenades Practice is how players are never in any real danger. Nor is there a time limit, which makes the game look and feel a bit easy at times. Different types of grenades can be chosen to get the job done, and it is quite interesting how creative players can get in this regard. It is well worth replaying certain levels to try a different approach.

If there is one downside to the game, it is the system requirements. Anyone with a card older than the GTX 1070 will not be able to run the game properly. Why this power is needed is beyond us, as the graphics are not extremely stunning. Perhaps the optimization needs to be addressed through future patches. All things considered, it is a great game which keeps us entertained.
